The full day canoeing safari starts at Wyuna on the Lower Goulburn River – some 25-km west of Echuca on the Murray Valley Highway (B400).
Wyuna is just over two hours due north from Melbourne. Contact will be made with you, after booking, to arrange times, where to meet as well as finding out about any special dietary requirements.
We meet you on the day and then you follow us to Yambuna Bridge where your vehicle is safely parked for the day.
We then drive you up stream the appropriate distance where you will be fitted with approved safety vests, dry bags for you personal items and an esky with your picnic lunch which is specially prepared by River Country Adventours.
You will find plenty of good safe sandbars along the way to enjoy lunch with all the birds in a pristine environment.
Later in the day you will arrive at Yambuna Bridge, where you car is parked and you can head off home after your fantastic day on the beautiful Goulburn River.

We depart from Wyuna which is 30km east of Echuca on the Murray Valley Highway or about a 2 hour drive north of Melbourne. Exact meeting point and supplier’s details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- Please wear casual and comfortable clothes and old shoes. You may get wet during the day and we recommend that you bring spare change of clothes to change into. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult. No canoeing experience is necessary.

- Numbers on the day: This experience is for 2 people. There may be others on the trip with you.
- Session length: This experience is available 7 days a week, all year round (except Christmas Day). The weekends and public holidays are particularly busy, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. This experience usually commences at 10am and concludes at about 4.30pm.
